Audrey + Jeff | Old Post Chapel, Fort Myer | Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer
In mid-October, Audrey and Jeff were married in a beautiful, military wedding at the Old Post Chapel on Fort Myer. The details fit the setting to a T: Audrey walked down the aisle in a gorgeous dress with her new last name sewn inside, Jeff wore his uniform with lots of shiny medals, and they kissed under a saber arch minutes after they became husband and wife. They celebrated late into the night with family and friends, and some pretty crazy dance moves. 🙂
But let’s back up a little to Audrey’s first email to me. It said, “My fiance is Jeff, the sweetest man in the world.” They met while he was deployed and fell in love as soon as he returned. When I first met these two lovebirds for coffee, it was easy to see how they fell for each other. Jeff is in fact sweet and Audrey is a little firecracker, which seems fitting since the Fourth is her favorite holiday and the day they got engaged! Together, they are one very, fun-loving couple. It was hard to keep a straight face through their engagement session with all the poses they were giving me and then again on their wedding day with all their funny faces for the camera.
I loved so many moments of their wedding day – the vows they wrote to each other, their excitement coming out of the church, and of course those dance moves! Congratulations to Audrey and Jeff! It was truly a privilege to be a part of your day!
